Foulds Metals began trading in Fleetwood shortly after the end of the First World War.
A proud Yorkshireman, John Foulds first settled in Fleetwood and went into the scrap business with premises in Back Mount Street, Fleetwood.
In 1989, the scrap business was taken over by Ian Barnes, who remains managing director to this day.
Foulds metals in have raised over £20,000 for our local RNLI! With your help we can increase this figure even higher!
A big thank you to all those who contribute! If you have small amounts of scrap metal you wish to dispose of, we have a charity metal skip on site.
Any items which are put into this skip are weighed in at the end of each day and all proceeds go to the Fleetwood RNLI
Foulds Metals in Fleetwood are proud to support our local fire station. We regularly donate onsite scrap vehicles to our local firefighters for training and practice purposes.
Our extensive lifting machinery allows us to position vehicles in any angle e.g. on the side or roof.
This allows the firefighters to train in real vehicles and gain valuable experience.
Foulds Metals is behind ASDA Fleetwood. Within 1/4 mile of the Freeport Shopping Centre. Fleetwood is signposted from M55, Junction 3. When approaching Fleetwood from Thornton-Cleveleys on Amounderness Way (A583), turn left at the Freeport roundabout, towards Fleetwood town centre. After 100 yards, take the next left turn into Siding Road (if you reach a mini roundabout, you have gone too far). We are on the left of Siding Road; just go past the first entrance and use the second entrance after the main building. Report to site office on arrival.
